IS THERE ANY MORTGAGE MONEY ?

Posted by johnlee

The answer is YES!  There is money out there for mortgages.  It is not quite as easy to get as it once was, but it is there.  If you have a job with a history and a reasonable credit  score, you can get a loan with a good interest rate.  There are even loans out there that do not require a large of down payment money up-front.  Call me I CAN HELP YOU!   John  @ 720-272-3028

A bowl of Lemons - could bring you better health according to the ancient practice of Feng Shui.  Place five (5) lemons in an earth-friendly bowl, and put it in the center of your home or as close to the center as possible.  "This symbolizes your intention to stay as healthy as possible for as long as possible."

This does not mean you can skip your annual physical  -  but at the very least, you’ll get a cheap centerpiece out of the deal.

Down Payment Aid Coming To An End

Posted by johnlee

Homebuilders are always trying to sell their homes, but these days they have an extra incentive - beating the ticking clock.  In a few weeks -Oct, 1st - a financing option used by almost 20% of new-home buyers to help them scrape together a down payment is going away, making it tougher for many people to become homeowners.  It’s a loophole in the Federal Housing Administration rules that let builders and other home sellers channel money through a charity to help homebuyers cover their down payment. Lawmakers axed the programs because almost 40% of FHA borrowers who have entered into foreclosure since last Oct. had down payment assistance.  This gives home buyers who don’t have any money for a down payment a BIG incentive to buy now rather than later.

Tip Of The Day

Extend the life of your water heater with this simple trick.  Take your garden hose, screw it onto the drain spicket of your water heater, put the open end outside or in a drain or sink, open the valve of the heater to let the water drain out of the water heater for 3 or 4 minutes.  This will let the sediment that has accumulated in the bottom of your water heater out and extend the life of your heater and lower your energy cost.

Now Is The Time To Buy

Posted by johnlee

Interest rates are good, availability is great and PRICES are not going to go lower.  The availability of forclosure/REO properties is starting to dwindle and very soon the market is going to change from a buyer’s market back to a seller’s market.  When that happens, PRICES will go up and availability will go down.  The Denver market has already started to show increased home values - 1.5% gain in value last month ( one of only two areas in the U.S. market to show increases).  Don’t wait, be ahead of the curve!
